Class Experience

Market Visit

Begin with a guided visit to a local souk where your chef will introduce you to the essential ingredients of Moroccan cuisine. Learn about the spices that make Moroccan food unique: cumin, saffron, ras el hanout, preserved lemons, and more.

Cooking Class

Return to the cooking school housed in a beautiful traditional riad. Don your apron and begin preparing a multi-course Moroccan meal. Typical dishes include:

  • Moroccan salads (zaalouk, taktouka)
  • Traditional tagine (chicken with preserved lemon and olives or lamb with prunes and almonds)
  • Fresh bread
  • Moroccan pastries or fruit dessert
  • Traditional mint tea

Your Meal
